The Research Center of Neurobiology-Neurophysiology of Marseille (CRN2M) is composed of 12 research teams issued from 7 different laboratories belonging to CNRS, INRA and/or Universities (UII and UIII).

The Research developed by these teams all belong to Neurosciences, using experimental approaches of Cellular and Molecular Biology and Physiology.

Three major domains of research are developed, each in a specific Department:
   - Neuronal signalling
   - Neuroendocrinology-Neuroimmunology
   - Neurovegetative Physiology
